Since 1995, Ollinmäki Wine Farm in Anttola has been a producer of berry and fruit wines. Domestic berries have been combined with Central European wine-making skills plus a good portion of Finnish pioneering spirit.
These ingredients have resulted in entirely Finnish wines. The names given to the wines originate from Kanteletar, a collection of old Finnish songs and hymns. Puntun Paavo, Myllärin Matti, Hentun Liisa, and lots of other wines to be enjoyed by connoisseurs of fine wines. Award-winning wines are on sale and ciders, liqueurs and aromatic distillates are served over the counter. A sparkling wine called Ruhtinatar is the newest product and it is made using red currants. The wine gets its name from princess (in Finnish ruhtinatar) Natalia Demidov of Anttolan Hovi. The present owners of the farm, Sirpa and Jukka Villanen, are carrying on the tradition by refining berries into wines, liqueurs and strong alcohol. The wines are drunk from stemmed glasses, sniffed, and admired against the light... Welcome to learn about the secrets of winemaking.
